"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." Ephesians 3:20

This morning, as I was praying and asking God to direct me in my quiet time, I began to study Ephesians 3:14-21. A few words grabbed me as I was reading.

In love.

My heart longed deeply for all of these things on so many different levels. I want that passion that causes such grounding in my faith. Rooted deeply in my faith that causes me to be unmovable... in love. Grounding in my faith... in love. With the beauty of strength, knowledge, understanding. I say this because we need GOD to do big things.

We are just about ready to travel to Ethiopia. We are praying that we get our travel date tomorrow or at least by then end of the week, since we have been hearing "come back tomorrow" from the Ethiopian courts for well over a week now. Once we get our travel date, we could have anywhere from 1-3 weeks to get ready to catch a flight to the beautiful country of Ethiopia.

As we are traveling soon, we have come up against an obstacle that we did not expect. We received our final invoice today from our adoption agency that is going to take up our entire amount that we had set aside for our travel expenses to Ethiopia. (INSERT A LITTLE STRESS AND WORRY).

We need to raise $7,615. (This includes airfare, in country transportation, hotel, food)

I cannot even fathom that number right now. Our lives seem to be crumbling around us (another blog post for another time), but we know that God is in control of our situations and we are trusting that HE will show up far more abundantly than we ask or think. Our need is great. Our time frame is short. It is a perfect scenario for God to show up in big ways. We need you. We need your help. We need your support. We need your prayers. Here is a link to our PayPal donation account. Please feel free to share. To give. To pray. We have a significant amount to raise in a short period of time. I just want to go and get my little guy... and bring him home.
