my name is ashlynn.  my mom showed me this website a few weeks ago.
i really wanted to buy bibles so kids could read about Jesus.
my brother wants to buy a cow or a pig.
i had an idea about doing some bracelets to help raise money.
you can get them here.
my mom helped me figure out some meanings.
what would help people remember why they bought the bracelets.
i call it hope & love.

here was her idea last year:  20 reasons

  3. Ashlynn,

Thank you for your compassionate heart. I am touched by your desire to help others who live in situations that sometimes make it impossible for them to help themselves. The gift of a Bible is a gift of hope for these children. A gift or word of encouragement can make a big difference in these children's lives.

I will be passing your website on to people within the Compassion Organization as well. Because your act of kindness also gives us encouragement. Encouragement that we at Compassion International can play a small part in your desire to spread the love of Christ. Thank you.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I knew your Grandfather, Gary. I did not know him well, but am forever grateful for his sacrifice and hard work in building a beautiful church home for all those who attend Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California.

Ashlynn, thank you again for your sweet and compassionate heart for others.

  4. Dear Ashlynn,

Wow! I am so deeply moved and touched by your loving heart. You are so special. I work in Compassion Korea and got the message that James had sent to our CEO. I clicked on your blog without any expectation and there I saw and felt your kind and sweet heart. Thank you. You are such an encouragement and inspiration. Although I live too far to purchase your beautiful bracelet but I thought I'd leave you a note of thanks!

    Thank you.
